Our Leadership Team

Bro. Grant Dykes
Pastor

Brother Grant became the pastor at Ryans Creek in November 2022. He has been in ministry for 10 years, serving as lead pastor for the last 8 years.  He graduated from Liberty University in 2016 with a Master of Arts in Religion.  His priorities in ministry are faithfully preaching the Word of God and proclaiming the good news of the gospel while lovingly shepherding the incredible Ryans Creek church family.

Grant and Kristen were married in August 2005 and have two amazing children, Drew and Miranda. As a family, they enjoy traveling (especially to Disney), spending time with their fur babies, and cheering on the Auburn Tigers!

The Dykes Family feels so blessed to be serving the Lord at Ryans Creek Baptist Church. God is so good and there are great days ahead for this church and community!

Josh Freeman
Associate Pastor & Youth Minister

Josh Freeman has accepted the call to serve as Associate Pastor/Youth Minister.  We are so excited to have Josh and his wife Kaleigh and son, Parker joining us in service to our community!

Josh and Kaleigh are both graduates of Cold Springs High and have a special love in their hearts for the youth of this community!

Mike & Lea Scott
Children's Church Directors

Mike and Lea Scott serve as the Directors of our Children’s MInistries.  Mike is an ordained minister and they both do an oustanding job leading all our children ministries which includes leading the Kids for Christ service every Sunday for 1st – 6th grades.  They have dedicated many years of service in this area and our children are blessed by their leadership and service

Max Shumaker
Music Ministry Director

Max Shumaker serves as our music ministry director. He leads our praise and worship team during our Sunday morning service.
 
Max and his wife Sydney have two children.  Sydney also leads our nursery ministry.
 
We are blessed to have both Max and Sydney serving in our church at RCBC.

Leigh Hall
Church Secretary

Leigh does a great job as the secretary for Ryans Creek Baptist Church.

Leigh and her husband Bruce, love the outdoors and spending time with their large family!

Wes Parrish
Custodian

Wes has been faithfully serving as the custodian at Ryans Creek since 2019.
 
His continued service has allowed us to continue unhindered ministry each week.
